Step 3: Next, take control of the scooter by leaning forward or backward slightly and slowly to move forward and backward respectively. To steer right or left, push your foot down like you would when stepping on the foot pedal of an accelerator. The foot pedals tilt and rotate slightly rocking forward or backward depending on which foot you push down. This activates the motor on the foot turning right or left.
