Xiaomi Mi Band 4 is our favourite budget smart fitness band tracker. It features a full colour AMOLED touch display like that on the Samsung Galaxy Fit. This means you can view call, text, and app notifications easily apart from the usual fitness data and being able to control music playback. Plus, like the Galaxy Fit, it is water resistant up to 50 meters so you can take it for a swim or to the shower.
Some of the fitness tracking features includes being able to recognise up to 5 swimming styles. It will record 12 data sets while you swim. This includes the pace and stroke used. Other common fitness activities trackable include power walking, running and cycling. Runners will be able to track their pace and step. New fitness activities such as battle ropes, tracking heart rate, calories burned and more.
While you sleep, the tracker monitors your sleep, giving you information such as light or deep sleep as well as heart rate so you can adjust your sleep pattern to rest properly. Use the fitness band to send an alarm, sending a gentle vibration to let you know it is time to wake up in the morning.

The Honor Band 4 has everything you would want from a fitness band, including that all important colour display. A 0.95-inch AMOLED touchscreen wrapped in 2.5D protective glass, it offers real time heart rate reading, works as a sleep monitor and is waterproof up to 50 meters with IP68 rating. The last one means it goes from tracking sleep to activities to swim without breaking as much as a sweat, figuratively speaking.
When used to track swims, the intelligent band can detect swim moves, track swim speed, distance, calories and determine your average swolf.
Using the same Huawei TruSleep Sleep Monitoring tech, a program certified by the Center for Dynamic Biomarkers (DBIOM) at Harvard Medical School it can detect sleep issues. The Samsung Galaxy Fit is one of the few rare fitness band with full colour display. It is designed to help you achieve an active and well-balanced lifestyle without getting in the way. Spotting a more rectangular flat look, the Huawei Band 3 Pro’s uninspiring and understated design is just that. But don’t let the looks fool you. The fitness tracker is kitted up with a 0.95-inch AMOLED touchscreen and is water resistant up to 5 ATM to track your swim of course just like the rest here. It is ready to track all your activities, monitor your heart rate 24/7 and is a scientific sleep monitor.
It is also one of the rare fitness band that comes with GPS onboard. However, enabling the GPS tracker will severely cut short the battery life. Typically, you will get up to 12 days use on a full charge. With the GPS turned on, expect no more than 7 hours. Our advice would be to turn on the GPS tracker only when you are running, hiking or cycling.

The main unit pops out of its metal case so you can change strap without fiddling with catches and latches.

It has the biggest AMOLED display measuring 1.13-inch but it also means that the small battery takes a hit offering around 3 to 3.5 days of use per charge.
