1. DIY Outdoor Pallet Swing

For the love of summer and the blissful feeling it brings! The Sorry Girls has shared an awesome tutorial through which you can build your very own swing with two wooden pallets.

Of course, you will need a tree in your back garden with branches strong enough to hold this swing.

You will need:

Two wooden pallets
Sturdy nylon ropes to support heavy weight
Paints
Sand Paper
Saw
Drill and screws
Ladder
Some funky cushions

Cut one of the wooden pallet into half with a help of saw. This will be used as your back support. Sand both pallets and wipe them to completely get rid of any grime. Once the pallets are completely smooth, coat them with a paint. Line up the pallets together with a smaller piece behind the larger one, and drill screws into them. Now drill holes for the rope on the side and top of pallets, thread the rope out of holes and tie it tightly for maximum support. Make sure the rope you buy is strong enough!

2. DIY Pallet Coffee Table

Perfect for warm sunny days or even bitter cold winter nights, a coffee table has many uses in a garden. Play cards with your friends, sip on a hot cocoa on a freezing morning or chill out with a glass of fresh juice on a sunny afternoon, the coffee table is a much-needed addition in your outdoor space. Design your own coffee table with a help of wooden pallets. If you need to move it out of the elements when not in use, fix four plate castors, one in each corner. Remember to use heavy duty casters preferably with rubber tyres big enough to roll over dips and bumps on the uneven ground surface.

3 pallets

After you are done smoothing the pallets, colour them with deck stains. Arrange two pallets in a vertical position and put one pallet horizontally between them. Screw them together with a help of drill. Now, attach the plywood on the top of the pallets to use it as a countertop. Voila! Your pallet bar is ready to serve you drinks! 4. DIY Pallet Patio Bench

5. DIY Pallet Porch Hanging

A dose of color can do wonders to a dull space. If you have a dreary porch that can use some brightening up, create a quick pallet hanging and enrich the spot with colors.

You will need:

Pallet
4 Eye hooks
3′ of metal chain
Colorful plastic pots
Drill
Vise Grip

To design a porch hanging, you can either use a raw pallet or a painted one. Put the pallet in an upright position with its slats oriented horizontally and insert eye hooks at each end with the help of a vise grip. Install eye hooks onto the ceiling in the same alignment as the ones on the pallet. Link the metal chain through the hooks and hang it by securing the ends. A huge number of wooden pallets
Paint
Screws
Window glass and frame

For the playhouse, you will require a large number of wooden pallets. Break down pallets and cut off the stringers to separate each slat. Build the square window and frame it with some of the slats. Design the floor of the playhouse with pallets and top them with a particleboard. Once the floor is completed, frame the doorway, walls, and roof with pallets. Find pallets of various thickness ranging from ½ to ¾ thick. Deconstruct and cut them into pieces.
