We know the convenience of slow cookers. But the benefits does not stop there. Slow cookers are cheaper to run and much lower in energy consumption compared to the standard ovens. Depending on the type of meat and how long you slow cook, the process prevents water from escaping and keep the nutrients locked in making your food more flavoursome.

Dishwasher Safe: this is clearly a given but we thought we put it down anyway. The removable glass lid and stoneware or ceramic bowl are typically dishwasher safe. Burned gravy or food is often best dealt with after an overnight soak and first scraping off with a flat spatula or scrubbed down with a sponge or brush.
