5 Best Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens Lego Sets for Fans
No, I did not stay up until 1 minute past midnight to watch the premier of the latest Star Wars film on 17 December 2015. But, I did go first thing in the morning on the same day, fresh and early and savoured every moment, the whole big screen experience had to offer. Pre-booked my ticket and even chose a death center seat.
There is a lot to be said about the Star Wars series, some call it a legend, others a vision, or even a religion but for me, it is just down right great entertainment. If you were born in the 70s like me, you have probably watch reruns of the first three episode; IV, V and VI on TV in the 80s and 90s and box set re-releases in DVD and Blu-Ray
Then in 1999, we were treated to Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace and beyond that, Episode II – Attack of the Clones (2002) and finally Episode III – Revenge of the Sith (2005) which completed the entire back story or prequel to the original 3 shows.
Naturally, with the Internet and social media as well as and press coverage surrounding the latest Episode VII, the hype is strong in this one. New (Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac) and old casts (Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamil and almost everyone else from the original three episodes in the 70s and 80s) with new director, J.J. Abrams at the helm what is there not to like.
