One of the most popular mixer in our list is the Cuisinart SM-50. It may be at the top end of our budget, but we were able to find White Linen and Onyx Black versions for under 200. We like the slender look, polished stainless steel bowl and die cast metal body. It is powered by a 500 Watt motor mounted on a tilt back head for easy access to the big 5.5-Quart mixing bowl.
